Sweet Melancholy is a photography project intertwining Elin’s film photography with the words of the artist Brenda Chamberlain, in a visual exploration of Ynys Enlli and the Greek island Hydra. Elin has immersed herself in Brenda Chamberlain’s work, both art and literature, and in doing so has discovered the many threads that intertwine their lives and paths, leading to this broad research of island life, art, literature, mythology and photography.
